with other working artists in a safe, encouraging, open atmosphere.
Welcome to The Shop
We will start with a simple, applicable warm-up, and topic of focus for the week.
topics of focus may include:
Story Structure
Emotional Embodiment
On-Camera Technique
Script Analysis
Cold Reading & Memorization Techniques
Animal Work
Long-form character creation
Mindset Tools
and more
Then we dive into the work sessions for the night
examples of work session may include
Actors
come with a scene, a monologue, an audition, a tool you want to sharpen, a business question
Directors
bring in a scene you want to rehearse and work with actors on
Writers
bring in a scene you want to hear and I’ll direct and coach the actors on the material
Producers
come practice a pitch, or meet new talent and find your next project or lead actor
Dancers and Performance Artists
bring in a new piece to receive coaching and audience feedback in real time
Singers / Musicians
bring in a new song to showcase to an intimate audience and hear what resonated
Each coaching session to be tailored to the material you would like to work on
You'll leave with clear tools and techniques you can apply in your work and life.
Doors open every Wednesday at 7pm
$30 drop in rate, per session
$100 for four consecutive sessions
All levels welcome
